the best present ever

James celebrated his birthday on Saturday by holding Ellis for the second time. The first being about a minute, just after Ellis was born, 39 days ago. Ellis is doing well. His team hopes to remove ventilation support early this week and move him to a crib.

    What a blessing to hear such good news!!!! What a roller coaster ride these 39-days have been - may all of the roads ahead be smooth ... God's blessing to you all- I love seeing the up-dates on Ellis-your baby girl is adorable!
    Happy Birthday James- beautiful present you got there in your lap! Ellis is a beautiful Miracle...Ellis was my Dad's middle name who passed in '92...I'm a bit bias but I think you picked a very strong name for your son...Love & prayers...Kathy & Mike
